WORKSHOP II: New Technologies and Trends in Waste Administration and Management

On 17 April 2026, the second workshop in Slovakia within the framework of the Waste Wise project, entitled "New Technologies and Trends in Waste Administration and Management," was held at the City Hall in Nitra.

The workshop was organized with the aim of increasing the professional knowledge of participants regarding modern technologies, digital solutions, and current trends in the field of waste management. It focused particularly on opportunities to improve administrative processes, monitoring, transparency, and compliance with legislative requirements through innovative tools. The programme also included examples of good practice, a discussion on the principles of the circular economy, and the identification of possibilities for introducing modern solutions within Slovak municipalities.

The workshop was attended by 13 employees of the Department of Environment of the City Hall in Nitra, who gained new knowledge and practical recommendations applicable to their professional practice.
